About Our Team
Steel City Dance and Gymnastics was founded in 2017 by Autumn MacCombie. Autumn brings over 20 years experience in Gymnastics and Coaching as well as a Masters degree in education.
Parents and students express their love of Autumn and her teams passion for dance and gymnastics as well as their commitment to every student young and old.
“I couldn’t be more impressed with Autumn and her style of teaching. When my daughter first started, the classroom setting was new to her, but Autumn was so patient, kind and really took the time to work with her. Now she can’t wait to get to class every week and learn new things. Autumn has been a delight to work with and we look forward to doing so for many years to come.”

She has competed in numnerous competitions in her career. She also attended nationals her final year of competing. She has been working in the field of Customer Service for many years now. She recently got engaged and is planning a wedding in her spare time!
Has been a gymnastics coach for 26 years. She coached for 23 years for the Brandywine Gymcats at the YMCA. She has coached nationally ranked gymnasts and looks forward to coaching more of them at Steel City one day. Her specialitys are vault and beam but she loves to coach it all. She is coaching USAIGC and will be helping with our USAG program in 2019/2020. Outside of the gym you will find her spending time with her husband, children and grand children.
Miss Danielle M
She comes to us with tumbling experience and working with younger children in a portrait studio setting - can you imagine how tough it is to get a photo of a group kids all looking and smiling at the same time?! While you may see her at the gym, she may not always be coaching, but she'll be working on marketing material as she has a degree in fine arts. In her spare time away from the gym, you can usually find her in the photo pit at concerts around the east coast.
Will be the familiar face you see when you check in at the desk!
